A Quick Heads Up

Most people don’t live in this world every day. And the industry doesn’t always make it easy. There are a lot of products, a lot of suppliers, and a lot of terms that don’t mean much until you’ve done it a few times.

Most people start by Googling, scrolling Amazon, or browsing product sites. That’s a normal place to start. Where it gets tricky is knowing what’s actually available beyond that, how it will turn out, and what’s worth doing.

That’s usually where we come in.

Option one

Move fast. Keep it simple.

If you already have a general idea of what you want and just need to get it done, this is the easiest way to start.

Browse products, compare options, and submit what you like. From there, we step in to finalize pricing, confirm details, and get things moving.

No call required. No drawn-out process.

This works best when:

  • You’re budget is under $5k

  • You don’t need heavy customization

  • You want something solid and handled quickly

  • You’ve got a tight turnaround time

Option Two

Want it done right? Let’s build it.

If this matters a little more, it’s worth talking it through.

We’ll ask a few questions, understand what you’re trying to accomplish, and guide you toward the right approach. Sometimes that’s a quick quote. Sometimes it turns into something more custom.

You don’t need to know which one. That’s our job.

This is usually the better route when:

  • You’ve got a decent size budget

  • It’s going out to a lot of people

  • You want it to feel more considered and on-brand

  • You don’t want to guess your way through it

A few things people
usually ask

(and a few they don’t)

  • They’re all versions of the same thing. Physical products with your brand on them.

Apparel, drinkware, tech, kits, packaging, custom goods. The category is wide. What matters is how it’s chosen and how it shows up. Done well, it feels like part of your brand. Done quickly, it feels like something you had to check off a list.

  • Yes.

We’re based in Kansas City and work with a lot of brands here, but most of what we do ships all over the country. Teams, events, and clients aren’t always in one place, and neither are we.

  • This is a volume-based world. Products are produced through suppliers and manufacturers that require minimum quantities, so most orders are designed for teams, events, or larger distributions.

If you’re just looking for a handful of items, Swag Search is the best place to start. If you’re ordering for a group, this is where we really come in.

  • There’s no hard minimum, but there are natural starting points.

Smaller, straightforward orders tend to fall under $3K–$5K and are usually easiest through Swag Search.

More custom, higher-volume, or more considered projects typically start around $5K and scale from there.

  • There are two ways.

If you want something quick, start with Swag Search. Browse, pick, submit, and we’ll finalize everything on the back end.

If this is a bigger project or you want help figuring it out, start with a call. We’ll guide you toward the right approach based on your goals, timeline, and budget.

  • Yes, and this is where most people prefer to start.

We’ll ask a few questions, understand what you’re trying to accomplish, and come back with options that actually make sense. Not just what looks good, but what works in the real world.

  • It depends on the product, quantity, and level of customization.

Most standard branded merchandise takes a few weeks after final approval. Custom builds or larger-scale projects can take longer.

If you have a deadline, we’ll guide you toward options that fit your timeline.

  • A proof is a preview of your product before it goes into production.

It shows how your logo or design will be applied so you can review and approve everything before we move forward.

For more terms, please see our driptionary.

  • Both.

We can source from existing products or build something custom depending on what you need. Custom work usually involves more time, higher quantities, and a larger investment, but it allows for a lot more flexibility and creativity.

  • Sometimes, but this is where things get a little misunderstood.

Retail brands have specific rules around decoration, distribution, and who they work with. Not every product is available for customization, and not every use case is approved.

We can guide you on what’s actually possible, what alternatives might make more sense, and how to get a similar look or feel without running into restrictions.
